Melbourne | Burch & Purchese Sweet Studio

While desserts take centre stage at this Melbourne favourite, the chocolates are no less impressive. Our favourite is the Popcorn & Honeycomb Rubble, so utterly delicious! Although it’s hard to go past their famous gold bullion bars, made with rich dark Belgian chocolate shell and filled with salted caramel and finished with a decadent gold lustre – oh my! Burch & Purchese is deliciously close to alluxia favourite The Olsen.

Red Cacao Chocolatier in Stirling is a boutique, artisan chocolate shop in the heart of the Adelaide Hills. We were completely charmed by this sweet store and its cabinet of chocolate truffles. On Friday and Saturday nights the store transforms into a Dessert Bar with chocolate desserts and tasting plates.

A warm chocolate brownie was available on our recent visit, comfort food on a cool winters day in Canberra.
