Cicchetti

The bar has been raised in Byron Bay with the opening of stylish modern Italian restaurant Cicchetti, which takes its name from the Italian meaning of ‘tapas’. Serving up a broad ranging menu from bar snacks, antipasti and pasta with highlights such as butternut pumpkin house made gnocchi with taleggio cheese sauce, toasted almonds and spiced wine reduction accompanied by a well crafted wine list.

A café by day, the venue morphs into an intimate whisky bar and restaurant by night. Sourcing seasonal, local and organic produce, The Roadhouse’s talented chefs seek to highlight the freshest of flavours, evident in café style breakfasts like Buckwheat pancakes sweetened with cane juice topped with grilled banana, Tenterfield strawberries and local organic cultured yoghurt.
