Noosa Dining Guide

b2ap3_thumbnail_berardos-dining.jpg

Noosa Main Beach is as seductive as ever; with stunning natural beauty, endless sunshine, divine dining and relaxed vibe you can go out and still feel the sand between your toes. Throw away any prejudice you might have about restaurants with a view. Noosa’s dress-circle favourites are still some of the best on the east coast.

Whether you’ve spent a day surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating or bushwalking if you’ve worked up an appetite, there are plenty of great eating and drinking spots to enjoy this holiday season.

Here’s our pick of the best dining and drinking in town.

Berardos Bistro on the Beach

This small bistro on the beach is glamorous and laid-back dining at its best. Whether you kick start the day with a beachside breakfast or settle in for sunset cocktails, it’s a divine little haven to watch the world go by.

Bistro C

I have a confession to make, I order the calamari with chilli, lime and coriander dipper every time at Bistro C - well it’s not called “our famous calamari” for nothing! Bistro C is more than just great calamari, positioned absolute beachfront overlooking Noosa’s Laguna Bay offers stylish, relaxed dining to be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch or dinner with chic beachside décor.

Noosa Beach House

I’m sure we all have memories of the old Cato’s at the Sheraton and it’s a pleasure to see the transformation now to Peter Kuruvita’s Noosa Beach House. The light and airy restaurants is highly inviting with striking natural timbered entrance, clean, crisp lines, banquette seating, coloured bolster cushions perfect for sundowners. Noosa Beach House blends local and international flavours inspired by Peter’s travels or coastal dining at its best.

Gaston Noosa

Even the most gluttonous foodie will be searching for something a little more casual at some point during their holiday. Gaston Bar Bistro has a cool, edgy fit-out for more relaxed dining. Gaston’s baguettes with fries offer the most delicious and best value lunchtime dining in Noosa.

Rickys River Bar & Restaurant

An open, airy riverside setting lays the foundation that’s made Rickys a Noosa institution. Rickys’ menu includes an outstanding tapas selection, showcasing the finest seasonal produce with contemporary flair. Ideal for long leisurely lunches, romantic dinners or sunset drinks in one of Noosa’s most stylish bars.

Embassy XO

Located in the stylish Duke Street Promenade Embassy XO is an impressive two level complex offering modern Asian and Chinese cuisine for a spicy and exciting dining experience. The lounge bar is a great spot to sit and catch the ocean breezes in summer or relax fireside in winter. Embassy XO also offers a Yum Cha menu every Fri/Sat/Sun from noon.

Fratellini

Staying on Duke Street, we love Fratellini for warm, authentic Italian food for casual holiday dining.  It’s a genuine Trattoria style restaurant, with great antipasto, pizza, pasta and don’t forget to leave room for Tiramisu. Open all day, every day and a great choice for families.

Thomas Corner Eatery

While Noosa Heads may be Noosa’s heart and soul, there’s plenty of eating action along Gympie Terrace.  Thomas Corner Eatery stands centre stage striking a balance between exceptional food and relaxed informality with stunning river views. With a clean, fresh menu of fresh local produce presented in an unpretentious way it’s a treat for holiday food lovers and lucky locals alike.

These are just a taste of what’s on offer in Noosa. Where’s your favourite dining in Noosa?
