Last week we brought you the news that Hong Kong boutique hotel group Ovolo had acquired Emporium Hotel Brisbane and now Ovolo has secured the rights to manage Hotel Hotel Canberra!
Last month we were lunching poolside at Paper Daisy at Halcyon House and noticed some serious construction going on adjacent to the carpark. Curious, we peeked through the fence and saw glimpses of Anna Spiro design gorgeousness. We were reliably informed, this new project is the Halcyon House Day Spa which opened quietly in late December.
Of all the hotels we visited last year, there is only one we made a return visit to – Brunswick Heads Motel.
