Free Spirit Pods on Bruny Island are two luxury self-contained waterfront pods set on eight acres of land popular with local wildlife, with gorgeous views of Quarantine Bay.
The pods were handcrafted from sustainable Tasmanian timbers and fitted out with quality appliances: you'll love the Smeg espresso machine, toaster and kettle, Bose bluetooth speakers, Smart TV with Netflix available, free Wifi, and the luxury of heated bathroom floors on a cold morning!
Each pod has a queen sized bed, as well as a sofa bed to accommodate children if required.
Bifold glass doors open onto a large private timber deck with BBQ for your al fresco dining option.
Each pod features a fully-equipped kitchenette with gas cooktop, microwave and refrigerator; ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, ceiling fans and free-standing cosy wood-fired pellet heaters.
The pods are in a beautiful remote location, just a short walk from Quarantine Bay and Chalky Point, and this makes them the perfect base for a nature escape.
Departing from Kettering, about 30 minutes south of Hobart, the Sealink Bruny Island Ferry takes 20 minutes to cross the D'Entrecasteaux Channel. While on the ferry, search "Davis Rd, North Bruny" on Google Maps. Once you leave the ferry, continue along the main road for 8.4kms. Turn left towards KILLORA on the C625 (gravel), for 4.6kms. Just past the CWA Hall, the C625 turns left. Follow this for a further 3.3kms. Turn left into Davis Rd. Proceed for 0.5kms, through the 'private road' sign and turn left to follow the graded road at the "Free Spirit Pods" sign. 500m further up the road you will find the Free Spirit Pods entrance....Welcome.

BOOKINGS MADE DURING THE PERIOD SEPTEMBER 1st THROUGH APRIL 30th WILL INCUR A STRICT CANCELLATION POLICY. - Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will incur a 50% cancellation fee - Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival are non- refundable but can be rescheduled to another equivalent period subject to availability.
