Emma’s Cottage Vineyard is a small family owned boutique vineyard which offers four comfortable self-contained cottages. Our cellar door also has a small art gallery which exhibits works from artists near and far. Guest can enjoy a wine and cheese or charcuterie plates on the terrace overlooking the peaceful garden.

Emma’s Cottage Vineyard is a small family owned boutique vineyard hidden behind vines onWilderness Road. Our four comfortable self-contained cottages overlook the vineyard, the cellar door and terrace gallery cafe overlooks the peaceful garden.
From the South Join the “M1” and head North towards Newcastle. Exit to the Hunter Expressway and follow the signs to “Hunter Valley Wineries”. Stay on the Hunter Expressway for 27.5km and exit left following the signs to “Lovedale”. At the roundabout turn left and Stay on Lovedale Rd for 2.5km then exit right onto Wilderness Rd. Emma’s Cottage (438 Wilderness Rd) is 4.38km on the right. From the West: Turn off the New England Highway at Branxton, and head South toward Cessnock. Wilderness Road is 7kms from the roundabout which becomes Wine Country Drive. Turn left into Wilderness Rd. Emma’s Cottage Vineyard is 1.4km on your left. From the North and Newcastle airport: Head towards Sydney, Kurri Kurri and Cessnock, go straight across the roundabout that intersects the M1, crossing onto John Renshaw Drive and head towards Kurri Kurri and Cessnock. Follow the signs to Hunter Valley Wineries and Singleton exiting John Renshaw Drive right onto the Hunter Expressway at the Buchanan Interchange. Stay on the Hunter Expressway for 17.5km and exit left following the signs to “Lovedale”. Stay on Lovedale Rd for 2.5km then exit right onto Wilderness Rd. Emma’s Cottage (438 Wilderness Rd) is 4.38km on the right. From Cessnock: Head north on Allandale Road / Wine Country Drive for 11km, turn right into Wilderness Road. Emma’s Cottage (438 Wilderness Rd) is 1.1km on the left.
Cancellation policy: All cancellation requests must be in writing e.g. Letter or email and a receipt of cancellation issued. Should a booking be made using a credit card which is invalid management reserves the right to cancel the booking without notice. Cancellations are subject to a $100 administration fee. If cancelled with 60 days or more notice a refund of the deposit paid. If cancelled with 21 to 60 day notice the booking deposit paid will be forfeited unless the hire is resold. If cancelled with less than 21 day notice full booking amount will be forfeited unless the hire is resold. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will forfeit the total amount. In the event of Emma’s Cottage reselling the total of cancelled accommodation the client will receive 100% refund less the administration fee. Whilst all attempts will be made to resell your room if unsold you remain liable for the costs of your total accommodation booking. Indemnity policy: The Hirer/guest agrees that the Hirer/guest and any of the Hirer’s party will not hold Emma’s Cottage Vineyard or any of its associated partners liable for any personal injury or property loss whilst on Emma’s Cottage Vineyard property located at 438 Wilderness Road Rothbury NSW. All activity engaged in whilst on the Emma’s Cottage Vineyard property is at the Hirer and their party’s own risk.
