A pleasant 2.5 hour drive from Sydney CBD on the F3, and less than 45 minutes from Newcastle. At the end of the F3 follow signs east for Hexham/Nelson Bay/Taree. At Hexham cross the bridge then continue toward Raymond Terrace. Proceed through the roundabout at Heatherbrae and around 2 km beyond look for the left branch off to Richardson Road (signposted Nelson Bay). Take this and turn right at the round-about then proceed forward. This will take you around the Grahamstown Reservoir. Proceed toward Nelson Bay on this road (for about 15 minutes); continue to the Mobil Service Centre and Saxbys Bakery. Continue following signs to Nelson Bay (approx 30 kms). On entering the 60 kms zone proceed for 1 km, you will now enter the 50km zone, continue for approximately 200 meteres, then turn right into Stockton Street (a service road with Blue B & B sign on post) this will lead you to 81 Stockton Street. If coming from north toward Raymond Terrace look for Richardson Road turn off, signposted Nelson Bay and turn left, now follow directions as above from around Grahamstown Reservoir.
