If you appreciate a good glass of wine, you have come to the right place. Named after the Sancerre winery in France, this boutique accommodation is placed on a vineyard. A quick drive will lead you to the Granite belt wine country where there’s over 30 wineries and cellar doors to fall in love with.
Sancerre Estate is just south of Stanthorpe, which is approximately three hours drive from Brisbane or the Gold Coast on the New England Highway.
Most visitors arrive from the north and if coming from this direction, remain on the Stanthorpe by-pass, travelling through the villages of Severnlea and Glen Aplin. The next village is Ballandean which is approximately 22 kms south of Stanthorpe.
If you are travelling from the south, when you reach the NSW/QLD state border you will pass through the town of Wallangarra. Remain on the New England Highway and Ballandean is the next village you reach, approximately 15 minutes north of the border.
Once in Ballandean turn at the school into Bents Road, 400m turn left into Sundown Road, then 350m turn right Zambelli Road. We are 550m on the right.
