Barossa Gourmet Weekend

It all started with Barossa’s new campaign ‘Be Consumed’. A sexy, captivating, feast of the senses and pure brilliance adding the soundtrack “Red Right Hand” by Nick Cave. If this doesn’t get you to the Barossa, nothing will.

It’s no secret we love food & wine here at alluxia and we are now rushing to return to the Barossa.

The Barossa is considered one of the world’s great wine regions, renowned for its Barossa Valley Shiraz and Eden Valley Riesling, regional produce and acclaimed restaurants.

A great excuse to visit the region is the upcoming Barossa Gourmet Weekend – 17/18 August 2013.  With over 30 participating wineries and food producers showcasing their finest wines paired with heart-warming food, live entertainment, the Gourmet Weekend is guaranteed to banish the winter blues.

The program has now been released and the three day festival will be a true feast for the senses, with food and wine experiences, family fun days, markets, recitals, long lunches, cooking classes and wine master-classes being just some of the highlights of the overflowing program.

Our picks include the Family Fun Day at Collingrove, Jazz Concert at Seppeltsfield Winery, Wine & Cheese Masterclass at Murray Street Vineyards.

Browse the full Barossa Gourmet Weekend program here and select from our collection of Barossa accommodation and make a booking before the region books out.
