How do I check availability?

You may like to search a specific region in the "find an escape" booking gadget in the top left corner of the home page and select your dates. This will open a search page listing the properties in this region and their availability.  Or you may type the name of a specific property in the "find an escape" booking gadget and select your dates.

What does it mean when it says "Sorry, no results match your search criteria. Please change your dates and options and try searching again" on a specific property page?

This appears if the property has no availability on the specific dates you've requested. Try changing your dates or the number of nights (noting some properties have a minimum night stay). Alternatively, go back to a search of the region and it will reveal greater availability.

How do I make a booking?

Once you've decided on the perfect escape, simply click on "Book Now" and follow the prompts.

Do you take a deposit?

No, we take full payment on credit card at the time of booking and you'll receive a confirmation automatically. This means you're able to secure the perfect escape without emailing & phoning the operator, saving you time and avoiding disappointment.

How do I make a booking for longer than 14 nights?

The drop down box only permits bookings for upto 14 nights. For longer stays, please email info@alluxia.com and we'll arrange this directly with you. Often with bookings of this length we may be able to obtain a discount and handle any further queries you may have.

What is the cancellation policy?

Each operator has stipulated their own cancellation policy. Please check under the "details" tab on the operators profile page before booking. The cancellation policy is also viewable during the booking process and appears on your confirmation email.

What are the favourites?

You can use this function to shortlist your favourite properties to assist your decision making process. Click on the favourites button when you've decided on a property you like and once you've selected a few favourites. Click on the favourites tab on the top right of the menu toolbar. This will present your favourites with a map which you can either email a friend or print as a pdf. It's great for wedding planners to provide a list of recommendations to wedding guests.

Can I purchase gift vouchers?

Yes, you can purchase gift vouchers by contacting us on info@alluxia.com you can choose any value and may be used at any property within the alluxia collection, subject to availability at time of booking and is valid for 3 years. You'll receive an electronic gift voucher, which can be emailed or printed and presented to the recipient.

What is the STRA Number?

From 1 November 2021, STRA (Short Term Rental Accommodation) in New South Wales must be registered with STRA here and operators, guests and booking platforms must comply with this Code of Conduct.
