THE LOOK 8Hotels has waved their magic, stylish wand over what must have been an old Roadhouse motel. The retro digs have received a makeover and with a sprawling layout, you’ll soon find your hipster hideaway.  The lobby has stylish, designer furnishings & smells divine with a welcoming scent on arrival.

THE SCENE Just a tram ride away from the CBD, you’re in the heart of coastal cool & eclectic St Kilda.  Spoilt for choice, the hotel has partnered with local restaurants Amigos, phamish food & wine bar, Rococo, Fringe and Big Mouth to offer 10-15% for guests with vouchers available at reception. Although it’s hard to go past legendary Ciccolina’s and Stokehouse or pick up dessert from one of Acland Street’s finest.  Designer stores and cafes are also part of the mix as well as St Kilda Sea Baths, Luna Park or stroll the Esplanade markets on Sundays.

THE ROOMS There’s a range of room types from the aptly name Cosmo Petite to a Grand Two Bedroom Suite. The Deluxe Terrace Suite is a winner, with space, style and comfort. Crisp white linen and a splash of colour by the addition of a trio of cushions arranged artfully on the cloud like bed.  Generous work desk and Free WiFi seal the deal if you’re travelling on business.  The room is decked out with all the modern conveniences including flat screen TV with Foxtel and DVD. All white spacious en-suite are with Romy amenities combine style with function.

THE SERVICE Entering the reception of Cosmopolitan Hotel you feel you’ve been here before, because the welcome is so warm & genuine they must know me, right? Wrong, it’s our first visit to this beach side beauty and it won’t be our last.  The Cosmo team are upbeat, chatty and eager to please.
