We stayed in the cottage to celebrate my 40th and for Christmas of 2015. It is a gorgeous location and each day we were greeted with no less than 10 wallabies in front of the cottage. There were even white wallabies, which are unique to Bruny Island. The property is tranquil and a perfect location to unwind. It is well located for those who wish to go on the Pennicott Wilderness safari around the island which I highly recommend. It is a short ten minute stroll to the ocean. We stayed four days but I could have stayed a week, as our time on the island was packed with activities- and we didn't really just get the chance to relax and chill out with a book.
Bruny Island is picture perfect- my top destination of 2015.
