Tarraleah first hosted guests in the 1930's as a working Hydro village. Now the residences and public buildings have bee refashioned into the stunning boutique accommodation options for lucky guests.
The Lodge at Tarraleah offers 9 art deco style luxury suites featuring contemporary art, king size beds with soft mohair throws to keep you cosy in the cooler months. Each suite has it's own luxurious bathroom with heated marble tiles, stand alone baths and waterfall showers.

While staying at The Lodge, guests may access the whole Tarraleah Estate which offers a choice of food and wine options. Hot, cooked to order breakfast is included for all overnight Lodge guests, served in the restaurant.

Located in the Tasmanian Highlands between Strahan and Hobart on the edge of World Heritage areas, National Parks and Tasmanian wilderness.
All the major Australian airlines operate daily jet services between mainland Australia and Launceston and Hobart. Tarraleah is a 2 hour drive from both Hobart and Launceston.
Guests can arrange their own car hire or transfers can be arranged with reception in advance.
Cancellation fees of 50% of booked accommodation and activities apply within 14 days of arrival 100% within 48 hours. All accommodation in non smoking and smoke taint will incur a penalty cleaning charge of a minimum two night rate.
Luxury Lodge Room
Stay in the Lodge in one of the beautifully restored king spa rooms. Includes cooked breakfast in Teez Cafe and use of the cliff top spa, sauna and gym.
All bedrooms have custom made king or twin beds with silk doonas and mohair throws, Tasmanian art work and occasional seating; all oversize local marble bathrooms have heated floors, luxury amenities and
contemporary baths. A complimentary soft room bar is included plus nine organic teas and a personal espresso machine on request. All rooms have climate control, heated floors and ceilings, internet, music, telephone, some have fireplaces and balconies.
