As a highlight of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival regional events on Sunday 16th March 2014, Terminus the One Hatted restaurant at Flinders Hotel will be hosting a Moroccan-inspired food & wine adventure - Feast of the Full Moon. This will be followed by a horse and carriage ride to the beach to learn more about bio-dynamic wines under the light of the silvery full moon.

A 6 course meal of shared plates from the kitchen of Flinders Hotel Executive Chef, Pierre Khodja will be served alongside bio-dynamic wines from Prancing Horse Estate from 7pm.

Tables of 10 are available and pre-booking is essential on 03 5989 0201 at $140 per person. Accommodation at Flinders Hotel is available from $275 for the ultimate gourmet getaway.

In addition, to celebrate 125 years of the Flinders Hotel the adjoining pub have recently launched their own pale lager.

The ECCA logo incorporates a turtle image and the tap in the Locals Bar is bound with rope - this marine imagery pays tribute to Flinders personality Eric Lucas (1920-2012) and his days as a fisherman.  Eric’s haul of a 9 foot turtle off the coast of Flinders in 1956 continues to be spoken about, alongside his golfing skills and distinguished naval career during World War II.

Available in The Deck at Flinders Hotel. Allow time to enjoy a drink and reflect on the history behind the beer that is only available at the Flinders Hotel when you book your getaway in the Mornington Peninsula. Read our review of this seaside retreat here.
