This glamorous resort town is a hub of Australia’s finest restaurants and boutiques set against a striking esplanade of sun, sand and all things bronzed. For a little slice of coastal bliss, Noosa is only a 1 & a half hour drive north of Brisbane, which might we add is an adventure in itself with its surrounding strawberry fields and Eumundi markets.

Noosa Main Beach is as seductive as ever; with stunning natural beauty, endless sunshine, divine dining and relaxed vibe you can go out and still feel the sand between your toes. Throw away any prejudice you might have about restaurants with a view. Noosa’s dress-circle favourites are still some of the best on the east coast.

It’s less than 4 weeks before the world’s attention is on Brisbane for the G20 Leaders Summit. While there are some great events for locals to celebrate this important occasion including the G20 Global Café and G20 Cultural Celebration, Brisbanites are encouraged to exit the city on Friday 14 November to make way for the motorcades. While glimpsing an Obama motorcade might be cool, what’s cooler is a long weekend by the beach!
