With its pristine beaches, cosmopolitan lifestyle and stunning hinterland, Noosa makes a stylish splash as Australia’s “Hamptons”. This glamorous resort town is a hub of Australia’s finest restaurants and boutiques set against a striking esplanade of sun, sand and all things bronzed. For a little slice of coastal bliss, Noosa is only a 1 & a half hour drive north of Brisbane, which might we add is an adventure in itself with its surrounding strawberry fields and Eumundi markets.

Where to Eat

Australia’s food Mecca, Noosa prides itself on its local produce whether it be from its pristine waterways or lavish hinterland. Its culinary prowess is even celebrated on an annual basis at the Noosa International Food & Wine Festival, which is set to take place between 14th-17th May.

Berardo’s Bistro

Berardo’s takes full advantage of Noosa’s breathtaking views and atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to marvel the sparkling Laguna Bay whilst indulging in a cocktail or two. This laid back bistro serves the freshest seasonal cuisine to suit the local climate. Alluxia would encourage you to devour Berardo’s seafood linguini served with Hervey Bay scallops, local prawns and mussels, as topped with a dash of chili, garlic and parsley.

Noosa Beach House

Peter Kuruvita’s, Noosa Beach House is bursting with colour and all things flavorsome. This intimate yet relaxed setting is alfresco dining at its finest! So pull up a cushioned chair and savour Kuruvita’s delightful blend of local and international flavours. A favourite amongst locals is Kuruvita’s Sri Lankan snapper curry and his pleasurable raspberry soufflé with a crumbled coconut sorbet.

Rickys River Bar & Restaurant

Ricky’s celebrates Noosa’s striking location and the aesthetic of contemporary yet pure local cuisine. This riverside oasis is renowned for its service, hypnotic views and last but most definitely not least, is its outstanding selection of tapas. It seems Ricky’s local scallops with burnt apple, bacon and hazelnut have caused quite a stir with local foodies.
