April is Newcastle Food Month

Foodie events are back baby and Newcastle is dishing up thirty days of deliciousness with the inaugural Newcastle Food Month this April.

Celebrating a dining scene that has blossomed into its own in recent years, Newcastle is home to an ever-growing number of cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs each with its own Newcastle identity and provenance on and off the plate.

“We’re so fortunate to have the Hunter Valley - renowned for its wines, and Port Stephens for its pristine seafood on our doorstep and a plethora of amazing produce and talent accessible to us.” says Event Organiser Louise Maher.

Newcastle Food Month boasts more than 100 food focussed events this April from Plate Dates involving more than 60 local venues each offering their speciality on a plate with a matching beverage for just $25 to the piece de resistance being a Parisian style pop up dinner held in 80 cities around the world coming to Newcastle for the first time – Le Diner En Blanc.
