Spicers Retreats Managing Director, David Assef revealed at today's No Vacancy Conference that Spicers Retreats would be expanding their portfolio into Sydney, following the recent acquisition of a property in Potts Point.

It's believed Graham "Skroo" & Jude Turner, owners of Spicers Group recently purchased the 25 room Victoria Court Hotel in Potts Point for $5.9m.

The group currently own seven boutique hotels, six in Queensland and one in NSW's Hunter Valley.

It is understood that the Tuner's have plans to re-develop the two adjoining heritage terraces into a boutique hotel & nearby restaurant space to fall in line with the high-end Spicers Group brand.

More information on the sale by CBRE is available here.
