The Truffle Festival – Canberra Region 
June-August 2017
As the weather cools, Canberra comes alive with truffle events across the region with the annual Truffle Festival from June to August. The Truffle Festival boasts more than 250 events across the Canberra region highlighting the French Black Winter Truffles. Events range from the hands-on truffle hunts and forages to indulgent degustation dinners in venues across the city.

Relish Fraser Coast 
3 June 2017
Visit Queensland's Maryborough for Relish Fraser Coast, a gourmet experience showcasing regional food and wine. Marybourough's heritage streetscape and riverside parks serve as the picturesque backdrop for a foodie celebration of local delicacies including mouth-watering Hervey Bay scallops and Fraser Island prawns.

Negroni Week 
5-11 June 2017
Negroni Week kicks off on 5 June as a celebration of one of the world's great cocktails. Your favourite bars and restaurants will be mixing up Negroni variations for a great cause such as OzHarvest here in Australia. If that's not enough, there's also World Gin Day on 10 June and World Martini Day on 19 June. Cheers!


Dark Mofo, Hobart

Tasmania's premier winter festival is back, delving into centuries-old winter solstice rituals, explores the themes of light, dark, birth, death and more in a heady fortnight of festivities. Often controversial, Austrian artist Hermann Nitsch show was cancelled and then tickets reissued following protests. Be invigorated by a packed program of art, food, film, music, light and noise at Australia's most exciting and edgy festival.

Adelaide Cabaret Festival 
9-24 June 2017
The Adelaide Cabaret Festival kicks off on the Queen's Birthday long weekend, and continue for the month of June. With Artistic Directors Ali McGregor and Eddie Perfect back for 2017, expect a great line-up of local and international artists spanning comedy, theatre, burlesque and dance there's sure to be something for everyone.

Sea & Vines Festival, Fleurieu Peninsula
10-12 June 2017
Celebrating 25 years, The McLaren Vale Sea & Vines Festival celebrates the culinary and winemaking traditions of South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula over the June long weekend. With over 35 events on offer, from intimate degustation dinners with winemakers and chefs to structured winery tours, there's something for everyone.


Winter Wine Weekend, Mornington Peninsula
10-12 June 2017
Another celebration over the June long weekend is Winter Wine Weekend in the Mornington Pensinsula. Comprising of the Winter Wine Fest at the Red Hill Showgrounds, punters will have the opportunity to taste around 200 premium wines from 47 wineries matched with a special menu created by local chefs and cheesemakers. Otherwise, explore the region with over 48 local cellar doors participating in activities and events.

Ironman Cairns 
11 June 2017
It's a postcard setting; competitors start with a swim course at Palm Cove and then embark on arguably the most spectacular bike course in the world. Competitors race up the Captain Cook Highway hugging the coastline from Cairns to Port Douglas. Then competitors transition into a run along the stunning Cairns boardwalk, with the race finishing in the heart of the city. The picturesque setting is ideal for competitors and spectators alike and ideal destination for a long weekend.

Daylesford Macendon Harvest Festival 
16-25 June 2017
Daylesford Macedon Produce Harvest Festival is a biennial celebration of the harvest. The festival showcases the region's best growers, provedores, chefs, restaurateurs and vignerons over 10 days of events and activities. Visitors should look out for Daylesford Macedon Produce farm gate signs and stop in to meet passionate producers, growers and those serving exceptional local food & wine.
