Noosa Eat & Drink, A Summer Celebration!

If you’ve been missing foodie festivals this year, Noosa Eat & Drink Festival has the tonic to round out the year.

A Summer Celebration is a reimagining of the classic festival with a series of covid-safe smaller more intimate events. Noosa Eat & Drink – A Summer Celebration is a collection of bespoke events featuring Noosa restaurants, chefs, breweries, distilleries and producers who are ready to shine this summer. Choose from lazy long lunches, degustation dinners, cooking classes, sunset soirees or meet-the-maker experiences to curate your perfect foodie weekend.

Now the borders are reopening, pack your bags and get your taste buds ready to celebrate on Friday 4-Sunday 6 December.

Here are some of the festival highlights to whet your appetite:

Nu Nu to Noosa | Friday 4 December & Saturday 5 December
Join visit chef Nick Holloway from Nu Nu Restaurant Palm Cove at Season for a winemakers lunch featuring four-courses and matched wines. This is an event not to be missed as Nick brings the flavours of tropical North Queensland and South East Asia to Noosa this summer.

Louis Roederer Champagne Lunch | Friday 4 December
Sip Champagne in style at Frenchies Bistro with a four-course set menu designed by Head Chef Fabian Oliveau. Think Hervey Bay scallop with cashew, chives and hazelnut butter on arrival paired with Louis Roederer Brut NV and click here to view the entire menu and book your tickets.

Miss Moneypenny’s Bottomless Lunch | Friday 4 December
Settle in for a set menu including a 2-hour beverage package of curated cocktails, spritzers, sparkling wine and beer and featuring ‘the coast spirit’ local Sunshine & Sons Dry Gin and original vodka cocktails.

Welcome to Summer Party | Saturday 5 December
Noosa is warming up and welcoming back interstate visitors with a ‘welcome to summer’ party feat. DJ Tim Fuchs. Free entry at Café Le Monde and settle in for some hot tunes and cool cocktails. Note, there will be no dancing, just sitting permitted so you’ll need to wiggle in your seat for this one.

Sapori Pugliesi | Sunday 6 December
Chef Will Cowper of Otto Brisbane will be joining the team at Locale to create a five-course decadent lunch menu that will hero the cuisine of the Puglia region. This celebration of Italian food and matched wines is not to be missed.

Vanilla Food The Cookbook: Launch & Lunch | Sunday 6 December
Enjoy a glass of sparking on arrival to toast the launch of Nilla’s stunning new cookbook. You’ll feast on three-courses featuring dishes and drinks featured in the much-anticipated cookbook. Every guest will receive a first-release signed copy of the cookbook in an organic bag and a Plastic Free Noosa aluminium water bottle.
